Deadpool and Wolverine just dropped another trailer meme days before its release, and while viewers were likely excited for one last tease before the film drops, the trailer also spoils a MAJOR cameo from a character who hasn't been seen on screen in years. We won't spoil it here, but if you want to check out the trailer you can at on YouTube, but be warned, that huge spoilers are in the video. What 90s film deserves a reboot?
It's no secret that the 90s were a great decade for filmmaking, especially disaster movies. With this week's release of Twisters (which is yet another reboot/sequel, or re-quel, in the vein of 2022's Scream and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) I couldn't help but wonder what films would you like to see rebooted from this decade. Personally I would love to see an updated version of Speed. The first film, from Jan de Bont (who also directed the original Twister) was one of the best action movies of the decade, and helped make both Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock into the stars they are today. Though Speed 2 effectively killed any momentum Speed might have had as a franchise in the late 90s, I think we've learned enough from the mistakes of the past to take a fresh stab at this concept and bring it into the modern era. What do you think?
Who are Dyson's $500 OnTrac headphones for?
Following Dyson's surprise entry into the headphone market in 2022, I think few people rightfully thought the company had a second act in it. Sure, full points to Dyson for having the creativity to add a filtration system to a pair of headphones, but its Zone over-ear headphones were heavy, impractical, and all too expensive. The company has decided to soldier on, however, today announcing its new OnTrac headphones. It's a more straightforward product, though this being Dyson we're talking about, there's still a gimmick. Gone is the Zone's Bane-like visor. Instead, the OnTrac headphones feature replaceable ear caps and pads, which Dyson will happily sell to you for $50 per set. Oh, and the headphones cost $500 on their own. It begs the question: Who did Dyson design these headphones for?
